UK standard 13A mains plugs. Unique. Adaptors readily available.
If you see a socket whick looks like a U.S. one, it's for an electric razor.
Under UK electricity supply regulations, that's as much current as they are
safe for.
What do you mean polarised? You can't safely connect a two pin polarised
plug / socket unless the two pins are physically different. In the UK mains
there is a strict definition of which pin is 'hot' and which is 'neutral'
(actually centre of a three phase star). The third pin is a real earth. How
the two non earth pins connect to the two sockets on an adaptor is
completely undefined.
