1/30 is correct. Here is what the Instruction manual says (spelling an'
all):

------------------------
When exposure must be achieved with flash focus on the subject and make sure
the meter needle points to a shutter speed 1/30 sec. or slower. If the
shutter speed is faster than 1/30 sec., turn the aperture ring to a larger
f-number (a smaller lens opening).

NOTE: The OM-2 incorporates an "incorrect flash prevention" system. If the
shutter speed is faster than the flash
cynchronizing range, the electronic flash will not fire when you press the
shutter release button.
------------------------

Yes, it says OM-2, but it means OM-2n (or it wouldn't be talking about
T-series flashes).

BUT on a later page, talking about non T-series flashes, when it also
recommends 1/30, there is a table which indicates 1/60 is possible with
electrnic flash.

Hi, Fernando and all.

This is the behaviour of my black OM-2n. Incidentally, the instruction
manual for the OM-2 tells to set it at 1/30 for manual flash operation.
