I've just agreed to buy some very expensive optics so need to sell three
pair of binoculars. Before they go to EB*Y if any list member is interested
please contact me off-list.

The first is a pair of Zeiss Jenoptem 7X50W binoculars in excellent
condition. These have multicoated glass and show only a few minor paint
markings. They come with a strap and case. These provide a very sharp image
and work very well in weak light conditions. The price is $270 plus
shipping.

The second is a new pair of Pentax 12X42 DCFHR binoculars. These come with a
soft case and strap. These are rubber armored and deliver a very sharp
image. The price is $295 plus shipping.

The third is a pair of Fujinon Marine Binoculars in excellent condition. The
description from Binoculars.com is as follows:

7x50 FMTRC-SX Polaris w/compass (Mil Spec)

So clearly better and brighter, Polaris delivers light transmissions in
excess of 95%, 23mm eye relief and construction that complies with the most
stringent US MIL specs imposed. The housings are made of light alloy for
maximum durability with minimal weight. And the housings are dry nitrogen
purged and sealed. Rubber armored models (provide extra impact protection
and are easier to grip when wet) include Fujinon's unique attached lens
caps.

Highest brightness - better than 95 0ght transmission, 100% multi-coated
optics
Flat-field, distortion free, high resolution optics - equally sharp from
center to edge
Maximum eye relief - 7x50 models with 23mm
100% Waterproof, O-ring sealed, light alloy housings, dry nitrogen purged
Lifetime limited warranty

MSRP is $1160 new
Binoculars.com sells them for $682
My used price is $440 plus shipping.

These and a similar product made by Zeiss are considered to be the best
marine binoculars on the market. The Zeiss cost a lot more. These come with
a padded floating strap.
