Well, in Dec 2001, James Couch showed us 3 scans of XA shots taken
while climbing - Climber, Cotero, Lewis Lake.
They are very detailed ( I have just looked at them again), and the colours are
fine.
My own experience with my XA (now needing repair) is that it takes excellent
shots; not up to the standard of the most expensive lenses, but still very
good.
I found I had to take extra precautions to hold it steady; it is so
light-weight
that steadiness was a concern.
