sumtimes misef.
Like ol' Ben Franklin said, "It's a man with a small mind who
can't think of but one way to spell a word." That's been my
retort to the language police for years.
And, Bill, my wife says I overdo it sometimes, but if you can hear
one of my burps from Brookshire to Sugar Land, your ears are
keener than mine. And since that's where she's from --
Brookshire, I mean -- I do get there occasionally.
Being a Tennessee mountain boy, it takes me a day or two to
acclimate myself to all that flat land, where you can see your dog
run away for two or three hours, but I have always enjoyed my
visits. I like Texas folk.
Of course, we Tennesseans made it possible for there to even be
Texas folk. :-)
