Wonderful news, it's a good one! Sent back (KEH) a Tamron 180 2.5 that
would not completely focus and a list member said it was the 3rd one he
heard do this :( There's one 80-200 on EBay for to much $429

I think you'll find several of us here who own one of these, and I
bet most, myself included, consider it among the best lenses, zoom
or prime, that we have.
