You won't regret it. Lots of photo opportunities. Have a look at photo books on
NZ and you will see that the light, the landscape, vegetation, just about
everything is worth a trip.

East Cape is really amazing and much less developed in terms of tourism than
many other places over there. Re. the spider: this is about as big as spiders
get over there. Nothing really compared to spiders in other parts of the world.
