On photo.net there is an excellent report by a Mr. Wee Keng Hor on the
differences between the Canon AF lenses 50F1.4 and 50F1.8. His observations
about the differences between the 8 bladed F1.4 and the 5 bladed diaphragm
of the F1.8 are extremely interesting. The url is:
