Hi Ajai, welcome to this list.
Just to tell you're lucky enough to have bought a post-1978 model, with an
even first-curtain shutter pattern. Otherwise your confusion would have
turned a nightmare.
It is useful to know that in Manual mode the OM2(n) reads center weighted,
but in Auto reads average.
Do find Silver Oxide batt. You can find them even in Uruguay :-)
