I think there is no hope for a light weight 35mm compact that made
before 1970, all of them just like a solid block of metal and most of
them are over 600g. For the lens quality all the 35mm compacts like
35RC, 35RD and 35SP have very sharp lenses, no poor than the SLR
Zuikos although they may be not so good in flare resistance.
