Sorry - I daren't speculate if the rules are the same for new and used.  I
know if you relocate here they'll tax you on anything less than 6 months
old.  (A guy who works for me relocated from Texas and brought with him a
'free' printer he got when he bought a new PC for his wife (he left her in
TX!).  He got stung for more than the street price.)
