I'd like to see that!
For backpacking, I brazed a 1/4"x20 bolt onto a Vise-Grip(TM). I put a wing-nut
on it to tighten up to the camera or head. Now all I need is three sticks or
one branch for a "tripod!" Plus, the Vise-Grip is generally handy for other
stuff, too.
