a) I can hardly ask a professsional to repair a lenshood ! :-)
b) Exactly why I do NOT want to use superglue! :-)
c) That was the whole point of the question ! :-)
Lenshood rubber is very sloppy / loose . Will not stay in place

P.S I totally agree with your comments regarding superglue.
