Pity. It will Change Your Life. :-)

I can't believe they have one in Ottawa, Ontario, but not Boston! From their
website, it looks like Long Island or New Jersey is the closest to you.

I was first introduced to the Billi in Orange County, CA. Now the closest Ikea
is a three-hour drive, near Seattle. I make a FIRM list before I go, and call
my credit card company to reduce my credit limit to the cost of what is on my
list... :-)

I have an entire wall lined with oak Billi bookcases with brass booklights and
extra top storage, two glass door/shelf lighted Billis in the kitchen, the one
in the studio I use for photo gear, some white ones in Carol's
beading/sewing/jewelry studio -- plus an Ikea sofa and entertainment center in
the living room, and Ikea halogens in the studio. My house looks like the cover
of the Ikea catalog... :-)

Could it be that they were infected when you bought them, but it was small, and
you hadn't noticed?

The only lens fungus I've ever seen came from evilBay, and I didn't let it get
anywhere near my other lenses before I sent it back.

Find an Ikea. You can also shop over the Internet at <http://www.ikea.com>, but
shipping might kill you. I think my ~30"x80" cabinet with glass doors, glass
shelves, and four 10W halogen lamps was about $200.

When I put Billis together, I use elmers wood glue as well as the dowels and
screws, which isn't in the instructions, but it makes them stiffer. If you use
glue, scratch up the finish where it contacts, or it won't stick.

If I get ambitious, perhaps I'll post a photo of my Billi photo gear cabinet.
