I have never used green, Dizel.  That sounds like a wonderful idea
which I might try.

Not strikingly - but I indeed see frequently the difference
between e.g. good B+W and Heliopan - this is a reason why
I am using mainly Heliopan filters, even if they cost
a bit more. And at 49mm cost difference between Heliopan
shpmc and Hoyas or B+W is minimal. Also - I have heard many
times that B+W filters are made by Marumi - and am starting
to believe in this :)

I tend not to use filters if I don't have to - instead I use
lens hood and lens cap :) Oh yes - and in B&W I _love_ green
filter for landscapes - almost forgotten filter which makes
green look like photographed on a near-IR film.. :)
