Do you like telephoto work? I use a tele zoom (85-250) a lot in the midwest
but I like to substitute the 180/2.8 when the length is right because the
contrast is a little better and probably sharpness too (the zoom is awfully
good though).
The 21/2 seems like a great lens, but I am just not attracted to it with a
21/3.5 in the arsenal.
So it would be the 180/2.8 for me. It's a big hunk of glass, but if you need
inspiration, check out C.H.Ling's portrait entry with it in TOPE 5.
