get a translucent lampshade. place object in center, 3 lights evenly around the
edge, the desk lamp kind with reflectors and flex
heads that use 20-40w lamps. voila. if you need to get close the subject/lens
distance for macro, simply elevate the subject on
something like a book or small box. works well.
