Actually, at Olympus (and Photosphere), we just use Kimwipes "lint-less"
tissues to clean just about everything -- for cost _and_ lint, I'm
sure.  Cotton leaves too many fibers, and you _don't_ want to have to
re-open a lens or body for _that_!  And I suspect that cotton balls
would be the devil to use without leaving either lint or condensation
marks, though I've never personally tried them.

And for 900f the cleaning we just use acetone -- cuts grease better
and evaporates without leaving condensed moisture as much as alcohol
does.  Just be careful around painted surfaces and plastic.
