Got in late from work the other day and Simone told me that there'd been an
article on a "Consumer" programme on the telly about E*bay. Apparently someone
had won a bid for something (the value was over 3000 UK pounds). The seller had
a very high positive rating, but in any case he used an escrow service to pay.
Turns out the whole thing was a scam and he's lost a good deal of his money.
