Yeow on the price. Did Oly make a 1.5x (1 stop loss)
teleconverter or was it only the 1.4x and the 2x.

Actually, 1.4x is the one-stop loss (approximate square root of two, using inverse square law for light intensity). 1.5x is the square root of 2.25, *not* 2.

A 1.5x tele is a bit of an odd duck; the 1.4x is about spot-on.
