I had an Acer Scanwit 2720 and replaced it with an SS4000. The SS4000 is
better but you have to compare 8 x 10 prints from my Epson 1270 very, very
closely to tell which was done on which scanner. I didn't try printing
larger than 8 x10 from the 2720 scans so I'm not sure how they would have
held up in larger sizes.
