Yep, the medical / photomicrographic / scientific Pen F and FT's have a
special clear screen that doesn't provide a ground-glass surface to focus
on.  It's similar to the OM-System 1-12 screen where you have to use a
Varimagni finder to bring the double cross-hairs into focus, and then bring
the subjet's arial image into focus with the primary lens or instrument.

It is a medical Pen F, with round view, perhaps for endoscope and seen some
with special lens adapter mounted. It is quite common on ebay, due to the
round viewfinder not suitable for normal use, usually sold at a lower price.
