Well, I tried that this w/e and found it not to be true. I realized
that with the GN of 11, I could get f11 at 1 meter (which should give
much better results that the f4 that tends to vignette), but I got blank
slides back. Was I doing something wrong?

I think that you are right on both counts Robert. I believe that
there is no max synch speed owing to its leaf shutter, but I am sure
that someone will correct me on this if necessary.
