Sounds like a great catch. The real proof is in the results.
You have to compare apples with apples, so compare this SC lens with other
SC lenses. Sometimes vendors just don't know what it is they have in their
hands. IMO, often half an hour of careful cleaning can make quite a
difference, including what seemed to be defects on lens surfaces, and bits
running around inside..
