I thought I would be able to use a 58mm filter on my zuiko 35-70 F3.6
via a 55-58 step up ring. I figured, yea a larger filter should get me
away from worrying about vignetting.

However, when I got my pictures back, I got four dark corners. Granted
it probably didn't help that I had a 55mm filter already in between the
lens and the step up filter. (I was shooting out in the middle of some
sand dunes and the wind was picking up a little so I really didn't want
to take off the 55mm filter)

So my question is does anybody know if 58mm should have been safe enough
size to step up to (if there isn't another filter in the way)?

Or if not, what filter size would you recommend to stop vignetting for
this lens?
