I think you can do whatever you please. Why do you take the photographs ? If

to get other's approval, then you need to adapt your techniques to satisfy
their
requirements, if it is for your own enjoyment, continue doing what you like.
This
advice is appropriate for just about anything in life - although I'm not
advocating
breaking the law, etc, etc.
