Not really that far OT but not dealing directly with OM. I appreciate
the helpful discussion as I'm learning about similar issues with the
2000p.

This got me digging around in the printer's software and I found quite a
few of what look like profiles for various monitors. These are hidden in
the WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COLOR\*.icm directory on my box, obviously different
for the mac folks. If your monitor is listed there this may be a ready
made solution. Unfortunately mine is not listed so I will do a trial and
error and may get lucky. Maybe I can find some info from Epson
recommending stock profiles for my printer/monitor but we have company
(pretty much constant condition here in the summer) and am up against a
deadline at work so have little time. Perhaps list members might share
profiles that work with printer/monitor combinations. FYI I'm using a
Silvania TF721/Epson 2000p combination.
