A Hotmail e-mail address is free - and all messages are automatically scanned including attachments. Good to have even if you already have one through your internet service connection provider.

Cheers,

Hi All

Got one too. I placed a bid on a 75-150 zoom and was out bid before the
auction ended. I received a msg. from photobycharlie touting his 75-150
auction (this is still before the other auction ended) in the same format
that Brian received. My W95 machine then went into auto connect mode until
I rebooted. I suspected a virus, but my McAfee scan didn't catch any and it
hasn't happened since the reboot. So photobycharlie must peruse the bidding
list for an item that matches one of his and contacts the bidders to divert
them to his auction. Or maybe he's just offering alternatives ;). Don't
have a clue about the connect glitch.
