I'm no expert on the UK market for a 35mm f/2.8 MC, in what would
probably be EX or better on the KEH cosmetic grading scale. You can try
searching dealer asking prices at:

which has a link to MXV, one of the largest inventories from what little
I know about your side of the pond.
Regarding online auctions, I do see a pattern in eBay auctions
originating in the UK fetching higher prices than those in the USA. If
you bought from outside the UK, be prepared to add taxes to the cost of
the lens, as well as pretty hefty postage and insurance charges. I just
shipped a package the same weight from the USA to the UK and it was
$17.25 insured for only $50. Uninsured would have still been a hefty
$8.70, plus the risk of loss would be yours. Many international vendors
would charge you even more than actual cost.
