Thanks for the advice. I do have the Shoe 4 on the camera so it looks like

mount the flash when I have some more disposable income. Can the BG 2 be
mounted on camera without a motor drive or winder? The only pictures I've
seen of the BG 2 in use have a motor drive of some type mounted to the
camera as well.
You have to mount the motor-less OM-1 with the handle and flash on the left
if you want to use the PC cord on the BG2. I personally don't like that,
so I purchased a short PC to PC connector so that I can still keep the
flash on the right and have enough length to the PC circuit to sync the
flash. One has to reach around the BG2 handle to push the shutter button
with the right index finger, but this is preferable to me as long as I can
keep my left hand on the focus barrel at all times.
