I have not fiddled with any of the "edit" picture programs on this pc (it's really my wife's). I get to play with it navigating the net, but I am reluctant to risk screwing up any of the settings when using anything else.

I'll maybe look again  when I am alittle more awake ;)

I left them fullsize from the CD scans so you can download, open up your editor of choice, and see how my suggested croppings fared vs the actual fullframe shot. sorry about the large file pixel wise,
still a reasonable 160-200kb apiece for their enormity <g>
