The 24/2, 35/2 and 85/2 MC was my standard kit for family photo and it
works very well for me when I only got a few lenses in the early 90's.
All of them performed very well and when I know I need a longer reach
I bought my 200/4. If you prefer prime I would suggest this
combination. The 24/2 is a bit expensive and the 2.8 has very similar
performance with slightly cooler color balance and no close focus
correction, but it is a fine lens and I also prefer the 24 to 28. The
35/2 has excellent performance and very good flare resistance, I have
no experience in the 85/2 SC but the MC is a great lens for portrait.
The 200/4 is good but very subjectable to vibration, you need a high
shutter speed and hold it firm. There were some good recommendations
from the list on the 200/5 and I'm also interested to give it a try.
