Stephen Gandy has posted new info and photos on his Cameraquest.com website
(fun to visit for all the greatinfo about older equipment) of the new CV SLR
lenses. While prices are no fangs, they are certainly more affordable than
some of Oly's prices new.

Especially interesting is the 40/2, at about half of what the collectors are
paying. Also interesting is the somewhat more expensive 125 macro, 1:1
without tubes.

Those of you with experience with the Cosina-built OM stuff will be
skeptical, but the CV RF stuff is well regarded. Isn't life interesting?

The olive model is really pretty. Color would look nice on an OM1. Or
maybe olive colored leather on a black camera. Nice that it takes the
M lenses. Wonder why they did not match the Leica rangefinder base.
Having to use the faster ones stopped down is kind of a pain.

Interesting that it takes a double metal shutter to block the light.

Are the screw mount Leica lenses coated?
