If you use the neckstrap in the cross-chest (Sorry, Susan) or bandolier
mode, but backwards - the camera (prism against your body) the lens will
carry safely in a downward position. Specially true will tele lenses. You
will have enough slack to twist the camera as you raise it to your eye.
Secure the body to you with a 'thumb' grip when moving through crowds.
