Hi Zuiks:
I have recently acquired a used Zuiko 85 mm f/2 lens. Yes, the
"enablers" on this list were right; it is a pretty wonderful lens.
The front retaining ring was "buggered up" by a previous owner. It
looks like he/she tried to remove the retaining ring with vise grips or
water pump pliers. I wrapped a length of Dynamo label around it, which
actually camouflaged the damage pretty well. My questions:
1. Is this retainer easy to remove, or will it cause me grief?
2. Is the part still available from Olympus, and if so, what is the
part number?
