I recently bought a everyready case that was
originally intended for the f 1.2 / 50mm lens on a
single digit body. Although I only have a 1.4, it's
nice to have some extra room to accommodate the filter
AND lens cap in my belts-and-suspenders way. It also
fits my 28mm f/2 which usually lives on the body.
There's now one on ebay # 1348260256. It's not a give
away price but it's a cool way to go, in my opinion.
