2-13 screen can be used without modification.
No backlight fooling of the (manual) metering system.
Better flash control indicator in the viewfinder.
Mirror-lock-up with the self timer.
The flash shoe can`t be lost.
Built in plug for TTL-auto-cords.
"program mode" for snap shooting, but I´ve never really used it,
while I`m spot metering mostly all the time.
