Thanks for your reply, Curt.  It just so happens that I'm waiting on an
OM PC to be delivered (for my son's use) so I guess he'll get the
80-200, too!  What a coincidence!  In the meantime, I'll contact the
store to see what they might be able to do.

An even greater coincidence - I obtained the OM-PC for my son as well, and so far I think the 80-200 has been on it most of the time! I put together a kit consisting of the OM-PC, a Winder 1, the 80-200 Vivitar, a Zuiko 50/1.8, a JCPenney 28/2.8, and a T-20 to celebrate attainment of his PhD in Physics from Princeton. I actually gave him a choice of the above kit, or an Olympus IS-3, and am happy he chose to go with the OM-PC; I'll be even happier when he uses it enough to become as interested in photography as I am!
