Whale watching in the Bay of Fundy might be impressive but maybe more
impressive is the tidal flow at the head of the bay. The difference
between high and low tides can reach almost 50 feet.

Seen at http://www.hudsonphoto.ca/021.html

is high tide in the early afternoon one day early last October.

Seen at http://www.hudsonphoto.ca/022.html

is low tide early / mid morning the following day.
