Richard -- Its at the San Jose Fairgrounds, off Tully Road in San Jose. Also
runs tomorrow Apr. 7th from 9-4 or 10-4 or something like that. Cost was $7
to get in, with a $1 off if you have the flyer from the last show. It was
nice to meet Stephen, and as he predicted Mike found me rummaging through
the 'bargain box' under a table. I got a "Dead" Stylus Zoom 105 for $1, but
alas it truly is "Dead" so apart it will come... There was a few nice items,
met a guy who bought a *truly* mint condition OM-4 with box and papers for
$375, it looked like it had never been used. I have his email to connect him
with the list... the first step... so subtle how it starts... the long slow
slide down to Zuikoholism...

There were a few nice-looking XA-2 and XA cameras around, a couple of A-16
flashes for too much $$... can they really be worth $50??? I saw a nice IS-1
box, presumably a LN camera inside; there was an IS-3 on a table too. A
bunch of OM-10's, OM-G's and OM-PC's, a few OM-1's, OM-2's and OM-2n's and a
few Zuiko's. The Garys (Schloss and Edwards {I think...}) were there, with
some nice Zuiko lenses.

The guy that Stephen bought his 35-RD from had a nice 35-SP, a nice 35-RC
and a 35-DC as well as three Canonet QL17-GIII's. This guy goes through them
when he gets them and cleans the rangefinder glass and replaces the foam.
When you figure the cost to have that done, his prices were OK on the
cameras. It was a revelation to me to see how much brighter the finder looks
when clean... I'll have to get out my little screwdrivers and q-tips... I
have an old Canonet to practice on before messing with any Olys.

I managed to get a couple of genuine Olympus lenscaps (you can *never* have
too many...!) and a 50/1.4 s/n ~1,110,000+ for $60... OMoney I shouldn't
have spent, but hey, I won't be unemployed forever... and that's what Visa
is for, anyway!

There is another photo show on June 1, according to the flyer I got today...
so if you don't make this one you can plan for the next event.
