Additional comments regurading Negresco... They are well known at local
camera show in southern california as bottom dwelling, scum sucking ,low
lifes that would rip off there own mother to make a fast dollar.. These
brothers are like glue and team up and look to rip off anyone they come in
contact with and get away with it ...I was at a local camera show and and I
was able to see first hand there attempt to rip off a little old lady who
had just lost her husband to cancer. She brought in a box of his mint,
highly collectable camera equipment . Leica, contax, alpa, with many rare lens
and accessories. She really needed the money to survive. They told her that
it was very old and worth only 100.00 to maybe 175.00 and advise her that
they would have to possible fix, repair and clean all the equipment and that
they would make very little money. In reality they would have made thousands
. She was about to except the offer when I spoke up and said " What great
old camera equipment. I know some of the dealer here that will give you
hundreds of dollars for these cameras and lens.. The brothers were needless
to say very upset at me for making such a comment...She walked the camera
show floor and sold it all for several thousand dollars.. It made may day
and trashed there day...Ha Ha What a shame.....Regurds to all honest , loyal
olympus collectors....
