Many pros shoot sports (anytime, anywhere) with Fuji 800
Professional (print film). Don't ask me what the code is...
Anyway, shoot with the print film and have scans or glossy
prints made available to the locals for the "trade". As is
traditional, you will give them "seconds" or a dupe of one or
two timeless shots with limited appeal. Remember, you aren't
shooting for them, you just bought a presspass--that's all.
If you prefer slide film, the Provia 400 gets good reviews. No
personal experience. Given the focal lengths required, fast
action and unpredictable lighting, there is no substitue for raw
film speed.
