Using T20(s) for macro works well, but they are not point sources, (the
flash is still bigger than the subject) so shadows are not crisp. The
photos with the T10 show no shadows. The T20's allow some control of
lighting ratios by moving one flash closer or farther from the subject.
For reflective subjects (insects?) the T10 is guaranteed to give
hotspots, the T20's you have a chance to angle so the reflections don't
end up in the shot.

Gary Reese has taken a lot of wildflower shots, if I recall correctly,
and used a T32 on a bounce grip. For photos where the background is not
close to the subject (flowers) you can not rely on TTL flash, you need
to do manual flash and do the mathematics to compensate for
magnification.

KEH lists a T10 with T1 for $325 in excellent condition and $205 in
bargain condition. They rate conditions very conservatively. If you're
going to use the equipment consider their bargain gear.
