I've had both a 911 (1971) and 1986 Audi 5000 turbo quattro. Audi was
much the better car, fast, quiet and amazing handling. It did with
aplomb and comfort what the 911 did with much noise, fuss and bother. I
know the newer 911s are better, but still cramped, noisy and not much
trunk.

Ever since I read this I have been out taking shot after shot with the
E-10 of my old 1987 Audi 5000 turbo quattro hoping it might turn into a
Porsche 911--didn't work :(
