Yeah, I know how it works, but thanks for the confirmation, just the same
:-) There was just no way for me to determine that when I checked the
auction. The high bid hadn't been retracted yet.
I "know" the guy who retracted the bid. I've bought from him before (a
really nice Zuiko 80mm/f4 Macro). He's a very reputable seller IMO, and I'm
glad to see he caught the discrepancy. Dunno if he's on the list here
though.

If there is a reserve price, the Buy It Now (BIN) option remains
until the _reserve_ is met otherwise, it only remains until the first bid
