I got a "beater" from Bernd in Aalborg a while back. While it is
cosmetically not in a good shape, it works solidly.

I am not sure. I've had one OM-40 (that's what we call it in the rest of
the world *grin*) only, and that's not been giving any troubles thus
far. Perhaps John or Clint or some of our repair-guys have experiences to
share?

I use it as a "point-and-shoot" camera, normally in P[rogram] mode with
the ESP-metering enabled. It works fine. If I am to take something more
seriously, though, then I do normally pick a camera with
spot-metering. But as a P&S it is absolutely fine.
