I was referring to moving a large photo file from the hard drive to the desk top for viewing or editing. On our previous computer running Win 98 with a 400 mhtz processor and even 512MB RAM it took a long time for them to load. Downloads as I understand it are more impacted by the servers between you and the source. We use a cable modem which definitely speeds things tho. Internet sites load almost as fast as you can click the ENTER button. Dave Dougherty |
