Or even smaller ... Look at the new Bronica 645. It's very nice and about as small as medium format can get. With it's portrait film orientation, it's very much like an Olympus Pen FT all-grown-up.

No, but I have wondered why Oly or somebody has not designed a medium
format camera in the style of the Epic Stylus. Imagine a 120 camera
just a little bigger than an OM4. It would put off digital for years.

I have used a 7 and it is hardly compact except when compared to Mamiya SLRs. The Bronica is definitely not compact in spite of the press hype, essentially the same size as the Mamiya which exposes a much larger film frame. Check the dimensions. I don't know anything about the Fuji.

I was talking about very compact in the same way that the Epic Stylus is probably 1/3 the volume and weight of the OM4 which is already small.
