Well, that $105 BIN 100mm f2 arrived today. It's not in bad condition, about
a KEH excellent grade. However, it was extremely filthy when it arrived,
what I expected from a pawn shop type place. Both the front and rear elements
were completely covered in dirt, the rear even had a big fingerprint on it.
Luckily repeated cleanings with alcohol, methanol, and finally acetone cleaned
everthing off with no scratches or cleaning marks remaining. Overall it ended
up being an excellent deal, but had either the front or rear element been
damaged, it sure wouldn't have been.
