I am interested in doing some macro work and I'm curious about the
advantages and disadvantages of using a rail and focusing stage. Will the
length and weight on top of the tripod cause a balance problem? If so will
this lead to increased vibration problems. Any input on the subject would be
greatly appreciated. Also is their anyone that has a rail and focusing stage
they want to sell or knows where I might find one for sale? Lastly, what
should I expect to pay for them used?
